# Tunc Orb

> Tunc Orb is your agents' personal cloud database. Every agent you connect (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, your own code, and Tunc Hub chats and BOTs) saves and reads the same records and logs, which stay private to your account. Free to start: 1 GB shared with Tunc Art.

Tunc Orb is made by TUNC.AI (TUNC LLC). When an AI is asked to keep track of something, it usually writes a file on one computer. Tunc Orb gives that data one home in the cloud, so it follows the person across agents, apps and computers.

## What it stores

- Named records (JSON, text or binary) and append-only logs, up to 16 MiB each.
- Agents create, read, patch, append to, search and delete them. A write carries a mutation_id, so a retried write is applied once.
- One store per owner, shared by all of that person's agents. People in the owner's workspaces cannot see it.
- To keep clients apart, use one Tunc account per client: every agent connected to an account can read all of its shelves.
- The website shows storage, usage and connections, never the records themselves.

## Connect an agent

- Remote MCP server: https://mcp.tuncorb.com/mcp. Sign in in the browser (OAuth) or send an API key as a Bearer token. Tools: data_read, data_write (create and append), data_update (replace and patch), data_delete and art_read.
- A2A 1.0: https://a2a.tuncorb.com. Agent card: https://tuncorb.com/.well-known/agent-card.json.
- REST API: https://api.tuncorb.com with an API key (POST /v1/read, /v1/write, /v1/delete).
- Agents without a browser: the OAuth device grant; the person approves a short code at https://tuncorb.com/connect.
- Tunc Hub chats and BOTs have the same tools built in.

## Get it

1. Sign in at https://tunchub.com/login?product=orb with Google, Apple or Microsoft.
2. Name your organization and accept the Terms. It is free.
3. Create an API key at https://tunchub.com/account/keys/new, or let your agent sign in itself (OAuth in the browser, or a short code for agents without one).

## Price

- Free: 1 GB of storage shared by Tunc Hub, Tunc Art and Tunc Orb; one Tunc Orb shelf; reads and writes included (50,000 Tunc Orb operations a day).
- Paid storage: Add 10 GB for $4.99 a month (sold through Link in 82 countries); unlimited shelves; 500,000 Tunc Orb operations a day.
- No per-operation charges. Deletes are never counted toward the daily limit.
- Countries: Sign-up and the free plan do not depend on your country. Paid storage is sold through Link in 82 countries; Link, Stripe’s payment service, handles payment and tax there.
- When storage is full, a Tunc Orb save first removes the account's oldest Tunc Art files to make room (never Orb records or logs), and the account page lists what was removed. If there is still no room, saving stops until space is freed or storage is added. Reading and deleting always work.

## Security

- Each agent gets a Tunc Orb token from Tunc Core that lasts at most 5 minutes, then talks to Orb directly. Core never carries or stores the data.
- API keys and sign-ins can be narrowed (for example read-only) or disconnected at https://tunchub.com/account. A disconnected agent is refused within a minute.
